Congratulations to CHARLOTTE ULTRA Swim meet swimmers

Congratulations to our squad who represented us at the Charlotte Ultraswim Meet this past weekend. All of them had excellent swims. Stephanie Jeppesen, in only her second ever LC meet, swam 2 personal bests in the 100 and 200 Meter Breaststroke. Sherif Madhour and Doga Celik, although a bit sleep deprived after an adventurous drive, had solid performances. Sherif swam the 100 and 200 Breastroke and Doga swam the 50, 100 and 200 Free. Christina Leander had a very exciting weekend as she made her first Olympic Trial cut in the 100 Back (and also set a new club record ) swimming next to world record holder Gemma Spofforth. Christina also established a new club record in the 200 Back the following day an added a personal best in the 200 IM. It was a wonderful “kickoff” to the long course meet season!
